一、悲惨的童年
柏杨(郭衣洞是他的学名,柏杨是笔名)是XXX人。他的母亲生下他不久就去世了。柏杨的父亲(郭学忠)很尽力的做一个父亲。有一天,郭学忠发现自己没有时间和精力,于是,他为儿子(柏杨)找了一个后妈(祁氏)。而父亲找的这个后妈,正是柏杨童年阴影的开始。祁氏没有一天是不虐待柏杨的,除了父亲郭学忠回家,她才对柏杨好。
柏杨当时能活下来,已经是不幸中的万幸了。那个时候,虽然柏杨家里有吃有喝,但是他的继母从来都无视柏杨。每天早上,保姆会做好一人一份的煎蛋和牛奶。这个时候,柏杨只能望梅止渴,因为谁都不理他,每当弟妹吃腻了这份早餐,柏杨总会渴望保姆让他吃,但保姆却自个把这份早餐一扫而光。除了郭学忠回来,继母才给柏杨一点点,至少,不会把他饿死。
继母时常往死里打柏杨,甚至有一次,拿着西瓜刀追砍柏杨,还好他死里逃生。从那次起,柏杨才知道自己是一个没亲娘的孩子。
二、父亲继母双双吸毒
这件事是在柏杨上百泉中学时发生的。那个的后妈来到了陌生的地方,对柏杨好得不得了。柏杨被学校开除时,他选择了回家(注:柏杨那个时候在亲戚家上百泉中学)后,天天都在家玩。他的亲戚很不解,但也没问太多。后来,柏杨发现,父亲和继母都染上了鸦片,成为了瘾君子。之前,是继母带头吸起鸦片的,糟糕的是,郭学忠也奋勇跟进。随着两夫妻吸毒的开销,原本很大的祖屋,就只剩下一间小房子。郭学忠这才戒毒,祁氏却一直寻找毒资,或者把自己的嫁妆卖掉,以此换钱来买毒品。
三、婚姻危机
柏杨一共娶过5位妻子,婚姻危机是同第4位妻子身上发生的。那个时候,柏杨因为经常写杂文批评政府,1968年由于大力水手的讽刺漫画而被捕坐牢。当他1977年出狱时,他的女儿(佳佳)已经是一位18岁的少女,倪明华(柏杨的第4位妻子)已经嫁人,还把柏杨租的房子和买的车拿走了,柏杨想见他一面,她拒绝了柏杨的请求。而且柏杨最钟爱的佳佳也对柏杨视而不理,因为柏杨出狱时,佳佳要求柏杨买手表。柏杨身上没什么钱,拒绝了佳佳的要求。从此,佳佳再也没有理过柏杨。那次婚姻是柏杨心理上的伤痕。
